If your business trades on the high street or out-of-town shopping mall, it's vital you customers know how to find out where you are easily and with minimum fuss. How? By advertising one telephone number for everyone. This way, callers can be directed to their nearest branch or local stockist using an 'as the crow flies' postcode recognition system.
To increase sales and brand awareness, your current and prospective customers need to be able to reach you whenever it's convenient for them and store locations, opening times, stock information and returns policies need to be instantly available.
Nearest Branch
For 'nearest branch' calls, Confero offers its clients either live call centre agents or automated call handling.
For low call volumes or where specific information needs to be supplied or provided prior to call transfer, live agents are recommended. Where high call numbers are expected - for example for a product launch or new store opening - our automated speech recognition service that uses the very latest technological advances in postcode recognition - built through millions of transactions - could be more appropriate.
The Confero Service
For your customers, the process couldn't be any simpler or easy to use. After calling your unique, nationally advertised 0800 or 0844 number, the agent will ask for their postcode and the customer is then transferred directly to their nearest store or dealer.
After the call has been successfully transferred, we have the ability to store the customers' number and subsequent local branch, store or dealer. If they need to call back, our state-of-the-art technology could put their call straight through to their intended destination negating the need for further interaction with our live agents or speech recognition system.
For 'after hours' calls, we can set up an SMS (text) message service to be sent directly to callers giving them the information they need, for example opening hours, store location and direct dial phone number.
Should a particular postcode go unrecognised or if it's unknown, callers can be simply and easily transferred to either your own call centre or to Confero. A local server or web-based lookup system is used to identify the nearest store, branch or dealer and the caller is transferred.
In addition to transferring calls, Confero keep a full statistical breakdown of all calls, postcodes and transfer destinations which can help you in future marketing opportunities.
